It was another busy indoor week for Railway indoor players domestically and abroad. The Ireland Development squad took part in the Mason Cup in Copenhagen with the Irish women losing narrowly in the final and the men finishing fourth.

Both mens and womens squads featured a number of players still in school and including Railway players Maedbh Le Roux (6th year Loreto Dalkey), Ellen Hiles (6th year St Andrews) and Bruce Whaley (4th year Sandford Park).

In Amsterdam the Irish PSI u18 Indoor squad played matches against their South African counterparts PSI South Africa u16s, South Africa u18s and local clubs Pinoke, Xenios and Amstelveen winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 2 but all matches were very close. Railway’s Chloe Hiles (4th year St Andrews), Isabella Willis (4th year Muckross Park) and Katie Hiles (4th year St Andrews) representing Railway on the squad with some other Railway players selected but not available.

Then completing a successful indoor weekend the Womens Indoor B team won the Leinster Division B league after drawing with Glenanne and defeating Weston they finished with three wins and a draw after previously defeating Monkstown 1st team and Trinity 1st team.
