It is with sadness that we let you know that former first team coach and Vice President Fintan Butler passed away peacefully on Monday.

Fintan will be warmly remembered by the players of the early 1990s when he coached the young first team to a number of memorable victories and campaigns. A great tactician, committed coach and mentor, a stern taskmaster and above all, a true gentleman.

Father to past 1st team players Owen and Ger and husband to Rose, our thoughts are with them now at this time.
